Our meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month beginning 12:30. Programs generally begin at 1:00 p.m. Meetings include a program or guest presentation followed by a tea or light luncheon. Persons interested in membership are encouraged to attend as a guest. It is not necessary to live in Belleair to join our club. ALL are welcome! Come join us!
The Belleair Garden Club's Horticultural meetings are normally held on the second Wednesday of the month beginning at 9:30 a.m. for coffee / tea social. The program begins at 10:00 a.m. Guests and potential new members are always welcome!
Occasionally the program consists of a field trip. Times will vary! Guests are welcome to join. RSVP is required for most field trips.
The Belleair Garden Club offers a variety of Interactive and fun workshops for hands-on learning experiences, such as floral arranging, seed propagation, decoupage, wreath making, painting, resin art, and garden-themed crafting sessions. March 2026:
March 4: Floral Arranging Presented by Judith Overcash of Random Acts of Flowers - Their mission is to bring moments of kindness in the form of a beautiful floral bouquet. This non-profit organization makes real impact in communities around the country by improving people’s health and well-being through flower deliveries, and recycling flowers and vases that would have gone to the landfill. Judith will demonstrate how to create two beautiful bouquets. After the presentation, there will be a raffle for the bouquets! A light luncheon will follow. Open to all. Bring a friend! Admittance is Free. Guest Donations are always appreciated.

For those who are interested... The following week, we will put our knowledge into action as volunteers for a shift at Random Acts of Flowers. (Day/Time TBD by RAOF)
Group Volunteer Day at Random Acts of Flowers
(Date and Time TBD by RAOF). This will be a RAOF Day of Service that gives our club members the opportunity to experience the whole mission from floral preparation to delivery. Limited participation. Participants must attend the March 4 demonstration in order to volunteer. Sign up sheet will be available at the demonstration.

March 21: Wilcox Spring Festival
The Belleair Garden Club is excited to participate once again this year at the Spring Festive at Wilcox Nursery. The purpose of the Annual Spring Festive is to raise money and awareness for the West Klosterman Preservation Group.
BGC will have a Booth set up to share information about our club and encourage visitors to join. We’ll have fun give aways and a spin wheel for prizes. We are looking for volunteers who can happily share details about our club and sign-up new members. There will be an A.M. shift and a P.M. Shift. Volunteers also needed for 8:00 a.m. tent set up and 3:00 p.m. tent break down. Please email Belleairgardenclub2@gmail.com to volunteer.

4/4: Town of Belleair Arbor Day and SpringFest
The Belleair Garden Club is delighted to offer our support to the Town of Belleair with our booth at the Annual Arbor Day and SpringFest event, where our volunteer members help children learn to pot a flower in their very own pot. 4/15 Field Trip : An Exclusive Nursery Tour at Belleair Palms, Inc.
Join us for a special behind-the-scenes visit with President Bob Deegan at his 5-acre palm nursery in Seminole. Bob describes the morning as “a fun walk in the park” — and that’s exactly what it will be! We’ll explore exotic palms and tropical specimens while learning about:
• Germinating seeds
• Air layering techniques
• Gardenias and grafting
• The benefits of moringa
• Expert plant care insights
Golf carts (an 8-seater and a 6-seater) will be available to ensure everyone can comfortably enjoy the experience!
Meet at the nursery at 10:30 a.m. Consider carpooling.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection, as this is an outdoor nursery environment. Light refreshments will be served.
To keep the experience engaging and interactive, attendance will be limited.

Summer Plant Swaps & Potlucks - Always popular!
Our Summer Gatherings are casual and non-structured. Summer Plant Swaps & Potlucks are held on the first Saturday of the month in June, July, August, and September at 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Belleair Garden Club, 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Belleair. These informal gatherings are a great way to get to know one another and learn more about our club. We ask everyone to bring a dish to share. (Savory or Sweet). We encourage all members to invite friends & neighbors!
In addition to the great food and conversation, we have a Plant Swap! A plant swap is a fun and rewarding way to exchange plants, cuttings, seeds, and transplants from your own garden to swap with others.
