Occur October to May. Our meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. The meetings consist of a program presentation followed by a light Tea. Attire is dressy casual. No RSVP required.
Guests are always welcome at our General Meetings!

The program begins at 10:00 a.m. Attire is casual. No RSVP required. Occasionally the program consists of a field trip. RSVP is required for all field trips.

Presented by Greg Ferro . Greg studied Horticulture and Botany in college. He continues to expand his knowledge through frequent interaction with Bonsai teacher Boon Manakitivipart. (Bonsai book available for purchase).

Presenter: Lela Kelly. Lela has spent her entire (35) year career in Horticulture. She has owned a company that sells fertilizer injectors to commercial greenhouses, and farms, all over North America.

November 8, 2023 10:00 AM Program: Citrus Greening. Presented by Kathy Hefele. Kathy, MGV, will review the IFAS Citrus experts, and share the current situation with regard to Citrus Greening disease. A brief history of Citrus in Florida is included.
WEDNESDAYS beginning November 8, 2023 NEW at the Belleair Garden Club! LEARN HOW TO PLAY MAH JONGG! Mah Jongg will be offered at no charge for members beginning Wed., November 8th at 2:00-4:00 pm at the Belleair Garden Club, 903 Ponce de Leon, Belleair FL. (Due to our meeting schedule, we will not be teaching the first Wednesday of each month.) After that, we will be playing every Wednesday of the month. Program: Sunken Gardens - A History and Todays Gardens. Presented by Francesca D. Cosmo. Ms. Di Cosmo has been a docent at the gardens for several years. She will guide us through the many changes, and highlight flora and fauna.

The Belleair Garden Club is asking for donations of goods from the community to contribute to their upcoming “Junk & Jewels Sale”. The club welcomes all useful household items, plants & garden items, furniture, clothing & accessories, antiques, books, jewelry, clothing & accessories, toys, and vintage treasures.
A convenient Donation Drop Off will be held at the clubhouse (903 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Belleair), Saturday, January 6, from 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m. Simply pull into the circle drive and club members will unload!
Pick up may also be available for estate donations, furniture, or for those unable to transport donations to the clubhouse. Please call Kathy at 281-802-2171 or email BelleairGardenClub2@gmail.com to make arrangements.
The Belleair Garden Club Junk & Jewels Sale will be held Feb. 1-3, 2024. Proceeds from the sale support the club’s Scholarship and Historic Preservation Programs.

Find a treasure at the Belleair Garden Club’s Annual "Junk & Jewels Sale" fundraiser, which will be held Friday and Saturday, February 2–3, 2024. The event is open to the public, and there is no charge to attend. Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. In addition, the club will offer their customary " Pre-Sale Night" on Thursday, February 1, 2024, 4:30-7:00 p.m.. Collectors and shoppers can browse and get the first dibs on all the goods. There is a $5 entry fee to attend the presale night only.
Local residents and visitors throughout the Tampa Bay area look forward to the huge rummage sale which has been held annually inside the historic garden club building in Belleair for the past 30 years. The entire clubhouse will be overflowing with an eclectic mix including Antiques, Collectibles, Jewelry, Home & Holiday Décor, Furniture, Art, Clothing & Accessories, Books, Toys, Tools, Household Goods, and Vintage Treasures.
New this year will be an Outdoor Plant Sale featuring an assortment of potted plants, gardening tools and accessories available for purchase. The plant sale will run Feb. 2-3, while supplies last.
Don't miss out on the excitement and community spirit of this highly anticipated event! There will be something for everyone, plus it benefits a good cause.

This year's tour of art and flower arranging will be extra special as BGC members Dorothy Shuman, Carol Albertini, Hilles Smith, Judy Sorenson, and Judy Hanks will have an entry! Lunch at a local restaurant will be arranged in conjunction with this field trip.
