Scholarship Application Process

INTRODUCTION

The Belleair Garden Club sponsors a Scholarship Program offering financial assistance to students applying to any undergraduate institution and committed to pursuing a career in Agronomy, Horticulture, Botany, Environmental Studies or related field.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

Applicants must be a resident of Pinellas County, FL, and planning to pursue education in one of the identified areas.

You must also submit a copy of your current high school transcript and two letters of recommendation; one must be from a teacher from one of the above areas of study.

These may be mailed to BGC Scholarship, 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Belleair, FL  33756 or emailed to

belleairgardenclub1@gmail.com.  Please use your name as the Subject.  Completed Applications must be received by April 1 to be considered.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant's previous academic and work experience, plans and vision for pursuing this career, as well as financial need.  BGC does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender identity, political affiliation, or disability.  Applicants will be notified of their status by May 1.
