The Belleair Garden Club is an active part of the community!

The Belleair Garden Members are proud to support and participate in many civic projects and activities in and around our community!  We strive to educate our members and the community in the fields of gardening, horticulture, and environmental awareness. We work together to promote the conservation and beautification of our public access parks, homes and gardens, and strive to create a heritage for future generations.  Please join us or consider making a donation to help support our mission!

🌱 Plant Adventures Mini-Camp! 🌱

Kid's Camp

New for Summer 2026!

The Belleair Garden Club invites grandparents, parents, and kids to join us for a fun, hands-on mini-camp all about plants and nature!

Bring the kids and spend a joyful morning discovering how plants grow and travel. Young gardeners will create their own paper seeds, watch how the wind carries seeds to new places, and get their hands in the soil as they plant a seed to take home and grow.

It’s a playful, interactive experience where kids can learn, explore, and connect with nature — and leave with something they planted themselves!

📅 When: Monday, June 1

⏰ Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

📍 Where: Belleair Garden Club

903 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Belleair

💲 Cost: $10 per child

👧 Who’s invited:

Children ages 6–10, younger siblings welcome, with an accompanying adult.

🌼 Space is limited!

The mini-camp is open to the first 25 children who register.

Projects, Activities & Involvement

Members maintain neighborhood butterfly gardens and landscaping at Thompson Park, Bayview Park, and at Park Ave. Park in Belleair.  In addition, members maintain our historic clubhouse and newly installed pollinator garden.

The Belleair Garden Club has a long-standing collaboration with the Belleair Park , Recreation, and Tree Board that includes a Garden Club member serving on the Park Recreation, and Tree Board.

Members taught gardening/horticulture classes to the kids at Belleair Summer Camp this past summer.

We support the Town of Belleair's events by participating in the annual Halloween Bash, Skeleton Trail, Spring Fest, and Holiday Parade..  Arbor Day finds our members distributing plants and teaching children how to pot plants.

Our Club Members make regular donations to the Hope Villages of America food bank. Some members volunteer their time at the food bank as well.

We collect and donate vases to Random Acts of Flowers.

Our Scholarship Program supports local students pursuing post-secondary education in horticulture, ecology and related fields.

Monthly meetings introduce members to local and State experts in horticulture, conservation and the beautification of public parks, homes and gardens as we partner with local presenters for our meeting programs.
