Fall Into Gardening Plant Swap & Potluck

Join us for our final Plant Swap & Potluck of the summer!  Bring plants, cuttings, or seeds to share, along with a favorite dish, and enjoy a fun afternoon or plant sharing, gardening conversation and good company.  Members, guests, and neighbors are welcome.

Petals & Paint: Botanical Greeting Cards Workshop

Join us for a creative evening with member and artist Pamela Hull as she guides us step-by-step in creating two beautiful botanical greeting cards using watercolor and pressed flowers.

Native Plants Made Easy: Florida Favorites for Your Garden — 

Presented by Wilcox Nursery & Landscaping.  Discover how easy it can be to create a beautiful, thriving Florida landscape with native plants. Learn how to choose the right plants for your space, add color and interest, attract butterflies and pollinators, and create a landscape that is easier to maintain. A selection of native plants will also be available for purchase. Don't miss this one! 

This is our Season Kick-Off! Refreshments will be served.  A brief Garden Club business meeting will follow the program for those who wish to stay.

Saturday, 10/10 | 10 a.m.–12 p.m. — Field Trip: Folly Farm Nature Preserve & Folly Faire, Safety Harbor

Spend a fun Saturday morning exploring the preserve, browsing local vendors and the nursery plant sale, meeting the farm animals, and getting expert gardening advice from Master Gardeners.  A perfect fall outing for garden lovers and nature enthusiasts alike! Admission is free. 

Pack a lunch and stay awhile — picnic tables are available so we can enjoy lunch together after exploring the farm. 

Friday, 10/23 | (Time TBD) — Town of Belleair Recreation Center Field Halloween Bash  

Bring the kids—stop by and say boo! Belleair Garden Club members will be joining the Halloween fun and handing out treats to trick-or-treaters.

Saturday, 10/24 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.  — Florida Botanical Gardens Pumpkin Fest

Enjoy a festive day featuring a pumpkin patch, fall crafts, a scavenger hunt, children’s activities, and more. Bring the family, enjoy the festivities, and be sure to stop by the Belleair Garden Club table to create a fabric pumpkin to take home.  Something for everyone—and plenty of seasonal fun for all ages!

Program: Nature Through the Lens: Photography & Tablescaping — presented by author and photographer Linda Rhodes

Discover how to capture the beauty of flowers, gardens, and everyday moments through a photographer’s eye, then bring that same creativity to the table with inspired tablescaping ideas. Linda will share practical tips, beautiful examples, and fresh inspiration for creating memorable photographs and inviting table settings.  Refreshments will be served. A brief Garden Club business meeting will follow the program for those who wish to stay.

Hands-On Horticulture Experience: Snip, Root & Grow: Plant Propagation Made Easy

Enjoy pizza, salad, and good company before we dig into a hands-on evening of plant propagation. Learn how to turn cuttings into thriving new plants while helping us grow a beautiful selection for our February plant sale.

Holiday Harvest Market at Belleair Bluffs City Hall & Park —  

Join us for the festive Belleair Bluffs Holiday Harvest Market, featuring local artisans, handcrafted gifts, seasonal décor, unique treasures, live music, and family-friendly fun.  Hosted in partnership with Candles for Caterpillars, this curated event celebrates creativity, community, and the spirit of the season, while supporting two local nonprofits. Annual Holiday Party & Potluck — Festive Food, Friendship & Holiday Cheer

It's time to jingle and mingle! This festive event is always fun and a wonderful way to celebrate the season together.  We'll continue the tradition of including two charitable opportunities. Embrace the true holiday spirit by weaving generosity into our party!

Town of Belleair Annual Holiday Parade & Party

The Belleair Garden Club participates in the Town Holiday Parade on Ponce de Leon and The Mall beginning at (Time TBD). Following the parade, head over to the Rec Center Athletic Fields for the holiday party featuring bounce houses, food, crafts, pictures with Santa, cookie decorating and more! Belleair Garden Club members assist with cookie decorating. Member volunteers are needed for both events! Please email Belleairgardenclub2@gmail.com if you are willing to assist!

Hands-On Horticulture Experience — Holiday Floral Arranging: Create a Festive Seasonal Design — Led by Carlson Wildwood Florist

 Bring the beauty of the season to life as you create your own festive floral arrangement. Enjoy a relaxed, hands-on experience filled with fresh inspiration, creative ideas, and holiday cheer—and take home a beautiful design to enjoy throughout the season.

 Both new and experienced players are welcome to join our friendly weekly Mahjong games.  If you're new to the game, you'll find a welcoming group happy to help you learn. 

Wednesdays from 2:30–4:30 p.m. at the Belleair Garden Club, 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Belleair, FL 33756.

Members participate at no charge, and guests are welcome. Beginner instruction is offered periodically for those interested in learning to play.

Interactive, hands-on workshops are offered throughout the year, with topics ranging from gardening and floral design to nature-inspired art, seasonal crafts, conservation, wellness, and more.
