General monthly meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month, October through May. Meetings feature a guest speaker or educational program, refreshments, and opportunities to connect with fellow members and guests. Membership is open to all, and you do not need to live in Belleair to join.
Horticulture programs are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month, October through May. Programs cover a variety of gardening, landscaping, conservation, and nature-related topics, and often feature guest speakers, demonstrations, educational presentations, and seasonal gardening tips. Light refreshments are provided, and guests have opportunities to connect with fellow members and others who share an interest in gardening and nature.
Whether you are an experienced gardener or simply interested in learning more, these programs provide opportunities to gain knowledge, ask questions, and share ideas with others. Guests and prospective members are always welcome.
Occasionally a program may include a field trip. Times and locations vary, and an RSVP is required for most field trips. Guests and prospective members are welcome to join us.
The Belleair Garden Club offers a variety of interactive and engaging workshops throughout the year. Topics may include gardening, floral design, nature-inspired art, seasonal crafts, birding, conservation, wellness, and other hands-on learning experiences. These workshops support the club's mission of horticultural education, conservation, and community involvement while providing opportunities to learn, create, and build friendships. Our workshops are designed to inspire creativity, encourage learning, and provide a welcoming experience for all experience levels.

Summer Programs & Events
During the summer months of June, July, August, and September, our programs take on a more casual and relaxed format. Throughout the summer, we continue to offer opportunities to learn, connect, and enjoy gardening through plant swaps, workshops, and other special events.
Our popular Plant Swaps & Potlucks bring gardeners together to share plants, cuttings, seeds, gardening knowledge, favorite dishes, and great conversation. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, these gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, discover something new, and connect with others who share a love of gardening.
In addition to our Plant Swaps & Potlucks, we offer a variety of hands-on workshops and special activities. These may include gardening projects, kids mini-camps, seasonal crafts, floral design, educational presentations, and other creative experiences that celebrate gardening, nature, and community.

Volunteer Opportunities
Even during the summer months, our members are busy behind the scenes planning and preparing for the season ahead. From Junk & Jewels and seasonal markets to educational programs, workshops, and special events, our volunteers make it all happen. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the Belleair Garden Club, and we welcome members who would like to share their time, talents, ideas, and enthusiasm. Whether you’re interested in helping occasionally or taking on a larger role, we'd love to have you join in.
MAH JONGG
Whether you’re an experienced player or completely new to Mah Jongg, you'll find a friendly and welcoming group eager to help you learn, play, and enjoy an afternoon together. Mah Jongg is more than just a game—it’s an opportunity to build friendships, enjoy conversation, and be part of the Belleair Garden Club community.
We meet every Wednesday from 2:30–4:30 p.m. at the Belleair Garden Club, 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Belleair, FL 33756.
Members participate at no charge, and guests are welcome to join us. Our friendly instructor offers beginner instruction periodically, making it easy for new players to learn in a relaxed and supportive environment.
